Jackfruit is packed with nutrients. It has low caloric count, moderate amount of carbs and a good variety of essential micronutrients.
Vegans and vegetarians have used jackfruit to substitute for meat only for its texture. Nutritionally speaking, jackfruit is not well-rounded enough to cover what meat has to offer since it is very low on its protein content.
